Robinsons Place Dumagete installed solar panels in 2016 and is planning to convert 4 other malls in to solar powered malls. Other malls in the country powered by solar energy are SM City North EDSA in Quezon City, Central Mall in Biñan City, and CityMall in Roxas City.
Federick Go, president of Robinsons Land said “As one of the biggest consumers of electricity, having our own renewable source of clean energy allows us to reduce our carbon footprint and do our share in protecting the environment by using less electricity produced by the burning of fossil fuels,”
